Most recently, John played Freedom/Tyranny in a reading of FAVOR with Theatre on the Verge's New Musicals Festival at Abington Art Center's Pavilion. An original musical with a book, music, and lyrics by Greg Bachman, FAVOR was originally workshopped in 2023 by the musical theatre department of Baylor University in Waco, TX.
John played Claudius in a pre-Broadway workshop of the new musical adaptation of Hamlet, written and directed by Joel Kirk and music directed by Kris Kukul (Beetlejuice Broadway), with music and lyrics by various composers including Cody Fry, Zoe Sarnak, LOLO, Lyons & Pakchar, The Bengsons, Joel Ansett, Amanda D'Archangelis, Anderson Cook, Andrew R. Butler, and Jeff Daye.
John is the Production Manager at Next In Line Comedy, Philadelphia's ONLY independent comedy club! Voted "Best Comedy Night" by Philly Mag, Next In Line has shows every weekend at our club, The Coop - a sweet event space just two blocks north of Chinatown at 1025 Hamilton St. AND we run monthly pop-up shows around the city!
